Warm Welcome for ISES Indiana at Old National Centre

This past Wednesday, June 19th, ISES Indiana held their luncheon at the Old National Centre. The luncheon was full with members and non-members who were all out to see Visit Indy's - Marshawn Wolley. He focused on "What's Next for Indy" and gave an update on Visit Indy's current projects!!

Free Member Jam Session Highlights

Thank you to our talented fellow ISES members and guests for showing off your skills last night at Hard Rock Cafe.  Special thank you to Larry, Darren and the Encore Entertainment crew for your musical talent and help on this super fun event.  We loved all of you joining the Encore Entertainment band to show off your musical skills.  Thank you to ISES Member, Samantha Novitski, Sales & Marketing Manager at Hard Rock for your hospitality, food specialities and goodie bags!  We confirmed we sure do have a lot of amazingly talented ISES Indiana members.  Thank you all for performing and coming at this fun evening at Hard Rock Cafe.  
A little background information on the Free Member Events:  ISES Indiana won and received $2,500 at the ISES Eventworld General Session in Dallas, TX in August 2012 for increasing our membership by 25%. As a part of the ISES 25th Anniversary Eventworld Celebration, there was an award opportunity for all ISES chapters to earn $2,500 for a 25% increase in membership over the ISES 2011-2012 calendar year. We are thrilled to say that ISES Indiana was one of two ISES chapters in the world to receive this award for this excellent accomplishment with an approximately 28% increase in membership last year! Great job to the ISES Membership Committee and a very special thank you to all of our members for your continued support toward our ISES Indiana Chapter! 
The ISES Indiana board members wanted to use this money as a "Thank You" to our AMAZING MEMBERS! We have chosen to use this money to give back to our members in the form of (FOUR) free member events during the July 2012 - June 2013 ISES year. We had the first in August at Victory Field, second in November at the Black Acre Brewing Company, the third event at Saddle Up Saloon in March and this fourth event at Hard Rock Cafe.  These are free to our members and are dedicated strictly to saying thank you.

ISES Indiana Summer Board Retreat Highlights!

The ISES Indiana Board of Directors recently held the Summer ISES Board Retreat at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis!  The 2013-2014 ISES Year is going to be a blast.  Thank you to the Children’s Museum for their hospitality, hosting our meeting and lunch and letting us explore the Children’s Museum.   We loved the new Schnell Rauch House that you have recently renovated for events and loved being the first hosted in the beautiful event space.  Thank you to Sodexo for our yummy lunch and dessert.  We had a special visit from fellow ISES Members, Christian and Katalina with the Mind Tripping Show, with a little magic and fun!  Lots of exciting things to plan and discuss over the day, but we ended the day with a champagne toast and the ISES Board Carousel ride!    

Your ISES Board of Directors are extremely excited about kicking off the 2013-2014 year with many new transitions. The first being our new website and second, our new programs structure. Our new website is run through StarChapter, which is an online management software that allows our chapter to manage meeting registrations, payments, membership records, public and private communications, reporting, and more through one, easy-to-use online program.

Our NEW programs structure, identified by an icon system, was created for our members to easily track and identify their education hours. While reviewing the new website, please take some time to visit the programs page to learn more.
