2017 PACE Award Winner: Best Use of Space

Introducing our next 2017 PACE Award winner, Nate Bennett with NBE Event Group for "Best Use of Space". See below for the event overview and some photos from this Wanderland Prom!

Utilizing professional audio systems and intelligent lighting we helped turn a fieldhouse into “A Night in Wonderland” for their Alice in Wonderland themed prom. Because of the large size of the room and tall ceilings it was important to make the venue feel more intimate. The committee draped fabric across the arena to create a false ceiling. Placing four vertical totems around the dance floor helped to create the center of the action that would draw students in while the on-stage lighting created effects around the room. Our customized projections around the room helped to fill the space with themed imagery which assisted the committee in saving money on decorating expenses.

2017 PACE Award Winner: Best Wedding/Social Over 100k

Introducing our next 2017 PACE Award winner, Monica Richard with Mon Amie Events for "Best Wedding/Social Over 100k". See below for the event overview and photos from this beautiful wedding!

A European inspired wedding rich with opulent food, color and family history, the wedding of Michele and Scott, one of the industry’s own, was a labor of love for the planner because she had worked with this couple on a professional level many times. The team consisted of 12 ILEA members and each was selected by the couple because of their dedication to their skillset and work ethic over the years.
When the industry’s own get married, it’s always an honor to be part of the wedding celebration team. The bride and groom own a lighting and production company so they have seen many spectacular things over the years. When it was time for their own wedding celebration, they hired a wedding planner so they could hand over their vision to their professional friends and enjoy the weekend with their guests. They asked for a wedding which included their deep European family history and to be decadent with food offerings from around the globe. They wanted their guests to feel as though they had escaped to Europe for the evening, so the location for the ceremony and reception had to evoke a European flair, which was found at a private estate available for events.
The celebration was filled with warmth, decadence and laughter as their family, friends and colleagues joined Michele and Scott for an evening of joy almost 30 years in the making. The location, the food, the entertainment and Scott’s tartan all completed the celebration they wanted.
