What advice do you have to give to other event professionals?

To get involved in the industry.  Stay involved.  Be true and honest to yourself and your craft.

 

What is one thing people do not know about you?

I live in the country on a 9 acre farm with cows and bees.

What does your company do and what makes is different than others like it?

 Pete the Planner® created Pete's Money School to help companies make their employees lives easier. Pete's Money School is an action-oriented financial wellness curriculum delivered on a mobile-friendly e-learning platform. Pete's programming provides a realistic path for a healthy financial future no matter a person's income, age, past or present situation. Whether employees are in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, or 60s, Pete has timely advice to help them make the best financial decisions possible. 

 

What lead you to your current career and how long have you been in the field?

 Pete figured out that financial success is about behavior and math, not money and numbers, and needed to spread that message. He sold his investment and financial planning practice and has been doing financial wellness for companies since 2005. He works with hundreds of companies and helps thousands of individuals each year.

 

What is your most memorable event/project? Why? 

Pete wrote 6 books in 4 months and after doing that, nothing seems impossible.

 

What is one thing people do not know about you? 

Pete was a child actor and did plays and musicals all over Indianapolis as a kid. His favorite was playing Tiny Tim in the Christmas Carol.

 

If you were not in your current career, what would be your dream job?

 FBI agent
