Behind the Scenes with Sarah Studzinski

Introducing Sarah Studzinski, a guest speaker on our panel for the August brunch!

What does your company do and what makes is different than others like it?

Bose McKinney & Evans LLP is a business law firm serving both publicly and privately held businesses, governmental entities, universities, and high-growth industries. It is a firm rooted in the Indianapolis’ through its service and commitment to local business, cultural, and civic organization, but with a global reach thanks to its participation in an international network of law firms whose members are embedded in the legal and cultural know-how of their communities.

What lead you to your current career and how long have you been in the field?

I always knew that I wanted to enter the business world in some way, but I didn’t want to follow in the footsteps of many of my family members. I wanted to forge my own path, and have been doing so as an attorney for close to three years now.

What is your most memorable event/project? Why?

I had one closing that required hundreds of documents to be signed. I completely took over organizing and coordinating the execution of those documents. It took two days, and I had an army of notaries involved, but it felt fantastic when the closing occurred smoothly and on-time!

What is one thing people do not know about you?

I once performed onstage at the Grand Ole Opry.

If you were not in your current career, what would be your dream job?

I have an acting degree, so I do miss performing!

Come learn more about Sarah on August 16th at our brunch downtown at Hilton Indianapolis!

Behind the Scenes with Ashley Crouch

Take a look at this behind the scenes interview with one of our guest speakers for our August brunch, Ashley Crouch!

What does your company do and what makes is different than others like it?

WestPoint Financial Group focuses on accumulating wealth for their clients as well as protecting that wealth. Our ability to focus on protecting our clients wealth in the event of an accident is what make our company unique.

What lead you to your current career and how long have you been in the field?

I have always loved working with numbers and the financial industry, but what actually kept me in this field was a personal experience during my first year in the business. My brother in-law was in an accident and became disabled a few weeks after my first business meeting with him. He did not purchase life insurance or disability insurance and I saw how it negatively impacted their family. I never want to see someone else I know go through the same struggles they have gone through.

It will be three years in September that I have been in this field.

What is your most memorable event/project? Why?

My most memorable event was when I was doing an internship in college. We did a celebrity golf tournament for Marshall Faulk. I had the opportunity to meet so many great people and learn so much about the event planning business.

What is one thing people do not know about you?

I am very spontaneous and love to travel. If I had the opportunity to travel more I would.

If you were not in your current career, what would be your dream job?

Ironically, if I were not in my career my dream job would be event planning.

Come meet Ashley at our August 16th brunch at Hilton Indianapolis at 9:30!
